Cam flies under the radar
It cannot be denied that Cameron has impressed us with his interesting and frequent communications during his journey. In fact, for some of us, we've heard more from the young adventurer than we ever did in all the years during which we lived in the same digs/town/country.
Perhaps it was too good to be true. All good things must come to an end. Either way, it didn't last and from the 14th of September to the 10th of October our friend went completely silent. Dark thoughts started to enter our minds. What had become of the boh? Had he been overcome by some unforseen evil in the rural wasteland of mainland Asia? With restricted internet and cell-phone access, answers were hard to come by.
Fortunately, the silence was broken with the following update:
"just got out of that damn country, hopefully for the last time... (...) sitting prity in khazakstan (ich smish), jumped the border this morning. a bit frazzled at the moment so it may take a couple of days to send an update. anyways, no need to worry. theres a lot aof news to tell, don't know where to start. in summaary, the desert truly f@#ked me up, ended up spending a 10 days with no riding, most of the time in a tiny chinese town. met up with my mate (matty bugger) in urumqi where we set sail for the border 10 days ago.
bad news: camera is gone with all my photo's..... sweet mother of god! i'm pissed off.
update to follow"
We all knew he would come through, and await his updates in the near future. As always, they'll be posted to this site as soon as they arrive in our inbox.
Cameron's natural tendancies were either his downfall or his salvation.
