Thursday the 13th of August 2009 marks the start of an incredible journey by an incredible boh. One that other boh's all over the world will look up to as a shining example of what a boh can acheive if only he sets his mind to it.
Critics and nay-sayers will doubtlessly argue that the journey is that of a vagrant without money for a vehicle, who has been deported in silence and shame from his country of residence after losing one too many Blackberry phones at the local pub on a Friday.
But we all know that the truth about our boh Cam. Again, critics will say that the truth about Cam is best left unknown.
Cameron "Roonie" Bellamy sets off tomorrow on a daring cycle journey from Beijing to Nepal, an estimated distance of 145 000kms, or roughly twice that of the circumference of the earth. En route, he plans to free tibet, gamble with the Dalai Lama, conquer the himalayas and complete the challenge set by his idol Ace Ventura, of sending a slinky down all 10 000 stairs of a sacred monastery.
Cam, you were once described in a letter to the RURC by a member of the Royal Alfred Golf Club as a "bounder and a cad". Now is time for you to truly bound and cad, and on these pages we will show the world how you did it.
